The Lynden Christian Lyncs got by the host Meridian Trojans football team by a score of 30-29 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Lyncs face the Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) in a 1A Northwest challenge, on Friday, November 1. Lynden Christian will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Pioneers go into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 34-28 non-league loss to Montesano (Montesano, WA).
The Trojans (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Blaine (Blaine, WA). The Borderites go into the 1A Northwest challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Blaine was edged by Mt. Baker (Deming, WA), 49-12, in a league challenge.
