Texas High School Football - Rankin smashes Marfa

The Rankin Red Devils (Rankin, TX) football trounced the visiting Marfa Shorthorns (Marfa, TX), 54-6 in Friday's league outing.

The Red Devils now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grady for a 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 4 (6 Man) outing on Friday, November 1. Rankin will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 58-18 league win over Marfa (Marfa, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, Marfa drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Shorthorns host Garden City (Garden City, TX) to clash with the Bearkats in a 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 4 (6 Man) outing on Thursday, October 31. The Bearkats come into the outing with a record of 2-6. Garden City lost 60-48 in their recent league outing against Buena Vista (Imperial, TX)
