North Carolina High School Football - Monroe smashes Piedmont

October 25, 2024: Monroe, NC 28112

The Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) football trounced the visiting Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC), 56-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Redhawks now sport a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Stanly for a 2A/3A Rocky River outing on Friday, November 1. Monroe will clash with a Colts squad coming off a 38-15 league loss to Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Colts record now stands at 1-8.

With the defeat, Piedmont drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Parkwood (Monroe, NC) to clash with the Wolf Pack in a 2A/3A Rocky River outing on Friday, November 1. The Wolf Pack come into the outing with a record of 2-7. Parkwood lost 50-7 in their recent league outing against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC)
