Colorado High School Football - Montezuma-Cortez defeated by Pagosa Springs

October 25, 2024: Pagosa Springs, CO 81147

The Pagosa Springs Pirates were victorious over the visiting Montezuma-Cortez Panthers football team by a score of 42-21 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 1. Pagosa Springs will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Mean Moose enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 26-7 league win over Salida (Salida, CO).

The Panthers (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bayfield (Bayfield, CO). The Wolverines enter the 2A Intermountain challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Bayfield lost by Gunnison (Gunnison, CO), 28-27, in a league challenge.
