California High School Football - Steele Canyon toppled by Mount Miguel

The Steele Canyon Cougars football team (Spring Valley, CA), dropped 57-35 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA)

With the win, Mount Miguel advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Matadors travel to Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, November 1. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 9-0. Scripps Ranch won 31-10 in their recent league bout against Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA)

The Cougars now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Helix for a Grossmont - Hills bout on Friday, November 1. Steele Canyon will encounter a Highlanders team coming off a 35-21 league loss to Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 3-6.
