North Carolina High School Football - North Stanly falls to Mount Pleasant

October 25, 2024: New London, NC 28127

The Mount Pleasant Tigers felled the host North Stanly Comets football team by a score of 49-27 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers play the Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 1. Mount Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 20-10 league win over Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC).

The Comets (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Albemarle (Albemarle, NC). The Bulldogs go into the 1A/2A Yadkin Valley challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Albemarle toppled Union Academy (Monroe, NC), 7-0, in a league challenge.
