Texas High School Football - Saginaw tops North Side

October 25, 2024: Saginaw, TX 76131

The Saginaw Rough Riders football squad scored 29 points and limited the visiting North Side Steers to 18 in the Rough Riders league triumph on Friday.

The Rough Riders now sport a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Hills for a 5A-1 Region I District 4 test on Thursday, October 31. Saginaw will meet a Scorpions squad coming off a 33-24 league loss to Polytechnic (Fort Worth, TX). The Scorpions record now stands at 1-7.

With the defeat, North Side drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Steers host Wyatt (Fort Worth, TX) to meet the Chaparrals in a 5A-1 Region I District 4 test on Thursday, October 31. The Chaparrals come into the test with a record of 2-6. Wyatt lost 30-28 in their recent league test against Paschal (Fort Worth, TX)
