The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Queen Anne's County Lions (Centreville, MD) and the host Parkside Rams (Salisbury, MD), witnessed Queen Anne's County's football squad edge Parkside by a count of 21-20.

The Lions (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kent Island (Stevensville, MD). The Buccaneers enter the Bayside 3A/2A contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Kent Island got by North Caroline (Ridgely, MD), 16-14, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Rams confront the Decatur Seahawks (Berlin, MD) in a Bayside 3A/2A contest, on Thursday, October 31. Parkside will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Seahawks enter the contest with a 8-0 record after their 49-14 league win over Wicomico (Salisbury, MD).
