The Tidehaven Tigers were victorious over the host Rice Consolidated Raiders football team by a score of 49-33 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Boling Bulldogs (Boling, TX) in a 3A-2 Region IV District 14 challenge, on Friday, November 1. Tidehaven will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 34-10 league win over Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX).
The Raiders (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX). The Leopards enter the 3A-2 Region IV District 14 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Van Vleck lost by Tidehaven (El Maton, TX), 21-14, in a league challenge.
