Rodriguez Mustangs (Fairfield, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Pioneer Patriots (Woodland, CA), 12-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Rodriguez improves its record to 8-2 on the season.

The Patriots now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Vanden for a battle on Friday, November 1. Pioneer will play a Vikings team coming off a 42-15 league win over Wood (Vacaville, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-5.
