The John Curtis Christian Patriots prevailed the visiting Cohen Green Hornets volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Patriots confront the Ursuline Academy Lions (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 26. John Curtis Christian will attempt to advance on its 34-10 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 9-16 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA).

The Green Hornets (3-11) will now prepare for their game against Sarah T. Reed (New Orleans, LA). The Olympians enter the Division IV District 10 game with a 12-10 record. In their last game, Sarah T. Reed was dropped by Ursuline Academy (New Orleans, LA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
