With the win, Newman improves its record to 21-12 on the season. The Greenies host Academy of the Sacred Heart (New Orleans, LA) to face the Cardinals in a non-league test on Saturday, October 26. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 24-6. Academy of the Sacred Heart won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Salmen (Slidell, LA)

The Pelicans now own a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary's Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, October 26. Morris Jeff will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over St. Helena College and Career Academy (Greensburg, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 9-7.
