New York High School Football - Mepham wallops Baldwin

The Mepham Pirates football squad scored 40 points and limited the visiting Baldwin Bruins to 0 in the Pirates league triumph on Saturday.
The Pirates now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Meadow for a non-league test on Saturday, November 1. Mepham will meet a Jets team coming off a 41-12 non-league win over Glen Cove (Glen Cove, NY). The Jets record now stands at 4-2.
The Bruins (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Calhoun (Merrick, NY). The Colts enter the Section 8 Conference II challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Calhoun was ripped by Garden City (Garden City, NY), 51-7, in a non-league challenge.
