North Carolina High School Football - Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy crushed by North Stanly

The North Stanly Comets walloped the host Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy Eagles football squad by a count of 55-6 in Saturday's league test.

The Comets now hold a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Union Academy for a Yadkin Valley 2A/3A test on Friday, October 31. North Stanly will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 45-19 league win over Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (Mooresboro, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-5.

With the defeat, Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (Mooresboro, NC) to face the Gryphons in a Yadkin Valley 2A/3A challenge on Friday, October 31. The Gryphons go into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy lost 45-19 in their recent league challenge against Union Academy (Monroe, NC)
