Rhode Island High School Football - Ponaganset falls to Classical

The Classical Purple ran past the host Ponaganset Chieftains football squad by a count of 35-15 in Saturday's league test.

The Purple now hold a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Johnston for a Division III test on Thursday, October 30. Classical will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 43-7 league win over Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Panthers record now stands at 7-1.

With the defeat, Ponaganset drops to 6-1 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Pilgrim (Warwick, RI) to meet the Patriots in a Division III test on Thursday, October 30. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Pilgrim lost 43-7 in their recent league challenge against Johnston (Johnston, RI)
