The Nimitz Cougars football squad scored 7 points and limited the visiting Eisenhower Eagles to 6 in the Cougars league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring for a 6A Region II District 14 challenge on Thursday, October 30. Nimitz will face a Lions team coming off a 24-8 league loss to Dekaney (Houston, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-7.

The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Aldine (Houston, TX). The Mustangs come into the 6A Region II District 14 test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Aldine was nipped by Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX), 49-0, in a league test.
