In Saturday's league game, the Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC) football squad trounced the visiting Weldon Chargers (Weldon, NC), by a margin of 54-6.

The Vikings now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warren County for a Roanoke River 1A/2A outing on Friday, October 31. Northwest Halifax will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 30-28 league loss to KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 7-2.
