The Deer Trail Eagles volleyball squad (Deer Trail, CO), was edged 3-2 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Cotopaxi Pirates (Cotopaxi, CO)

With the win, Cotopaxi improves its record to 10-11 on the season.

The Eagles now have a 8-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Evangel Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, October 25. Deer Trail will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Pikes Peak Christian (Colorado Springs, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 15-4.
