In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Covington Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Amant Gators.
The Lions (12-21) will now prepare for their challenge against Eleanor McMain (New Orleans, LA). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 9-23 record. In their last challenge, Eleanor McMain lost by Willow (New Orleans, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Gators play the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons (Hammond, LA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 25. St. Amant will attempt to advance on its 21-15 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 15-7 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Live Oak (Watson, LA).
