In Saturday's non-league match, the Denver East Angels (Denver, CO) volleyball team held off the visiting Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans (Fountain, CO), by a margin of 3-2.
The Angels now possess a 10-11 record. They play next when they travel to Vista PEAK Prep for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 28. Denver East will clash with a Bison team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Northfield (Denver, CO). The Bison record now stands at 12-6.
The Trojans (14-8) will now prepare for their match against Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO). The Eagles enter the 5A CSML match with a 16-6 record. In their last match, Pine Creek held off Ponderosa (Parker, CO), 3-0, in a non-league match.
