The Ellsworth Bearcats knocked off the host Holcomb Longhorns volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Bearcats now possess a 32-8 record. They play next when they travel to Beloit for a North Central AA bout on Saturday, October 25. Ellsworth will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Hoisington (Hoisington, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 29-9.

With the loss, Holcomb drops to 36-5 on the campaign.
