Louisiana High School Volleyball - Ponchatoula can't get by Pope John Paul II

Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Jaguars (17-12) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 15-7 record. In their last challenge, St. Thomas Aquinas edged Live Oak (Watson, LA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Green Wave meet the St. Amant Gators (St. Amant, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 25. Ponchatoula will attempt to advance on its 18-13 season record. The Gators go into the test with a 20-12 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lutcher (Lutcher, LA).
