The Beech Buccaneers thwarted the host Springfield Yellow Jackets football team by a count of 24-10 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Beech upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season.

With the loss, Springfield moves to 4-6 on the season. The Yellow jackets travel to Southwind (Memphis, TN) to encounter the Jaguars in a non-league outing on Friday, November 3. The Jaguars go into the outing with a record of 10-0. Southwind won 50-0 in their recent league outing against Brighton (Brighton, TN)
