The Highland Park Owls football team (Highland Park, NJ), was beaten 35-20 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Metuchen Bulldogs (Metuchen, NJ)

The Bulldogs (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ). The Canucks come into the non-league challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, North Plainfield was beaten by Nutley (Nutley, NJ), 13-12, in a non-league challenge.

The Owls now sport a 0-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Point Pleasant Beach for a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 2. Highland Park will meet a Garnet Gulls team coming off a 41-8 non-league win over South River (South River, NJ). The Garnet Gulls record now stands at 2-8.
