Mississippi High School Football - Scott Central prevails Lake

October 26, 2023: Lake, MS 39092

The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Scott Central Rebels (Forest, MS) and the host Lake Hornets (Lake, MS), observed Scott Central's football squad defeat Lake by a count of 16-6.

The Rebels now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Bogue Chitto for a non-league contest on Friday, November 3. Scott Central will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 29-8 league win over Wilkinson County (Woodville, MS). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-4.

Coming up next, the Hornets encounter the Loyd Star Hornets (Brookhaven, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 3. Lake will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 9-1 record after their 39-34 non-league win over Franklin County (Meadville, MS).
