Northeast Jones Tigers (Laurel, MS) fans left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their football team nudge the visiting Mendenhall Tigers (Mendenhall, MS), 10-9 in a league test.

With the win, Northeast Jones improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Tigers host Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS) to confront the Aggies in a non-league test on Friday, November 3. The Aggies go into the test with a record of 5-4. Forrest County Agricultural lost 36-31 in their recent league test against Lawrence County (Monticello, MS)

With the loss, Mendenhall moves to 5-5 on the season. The Tigers host Sumrall (Sumrall, MS) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league test on Friday, November 3. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 4-5. Sumrall lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS)
