Texas High School Football - Wagner overwhelms Seguin

The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX), observed Wagner's football squad bounce Seguin by a count of 41-7.

The Thunderbirds now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Canyon for a 5A-1 Region III District 12 contest on Friday, November 3. Wagner will play a Cougars squad coming off a 40-0 league win over MacArthur (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 6-3.

Coming up next, the Matadors play the Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) in a 5A-1 Region III District 12 contest, on Friday, November 3. Seguin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Rangers go into the contest with a 8-1 record after their 47-10 league win over Hays (Buda, TX).
