In Thursday's non-league outing, the West Side Eagles (Greers Ferry, AR) basketball squad beat the host Pangburn Tigers (Pangburn, AR), by a margin of 53-39.
The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Norfork (Norfork, AR). The Panthers go into the 1A Region 2 outing with a 5-0 record. In their last outing, Norfork defeated Jasper (Jasper, AR), 63-30, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Rural Special for a non-league outing on Monday, October 30. Pangburn will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 65-56 non-league loss to Wonderview (Hattieville, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 1-2.
