Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats (Lindstrom, MN), 35-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Hill-Murray advances its record to 8-1 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN) to play the Spartans in a non-league battle on Friday, November 1. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 5-4. Simley won 41-20 in their recent non-league battle against North (North St. Paul, MN)
The Wildcats now own a 4-6 record.
