The Mepham Pirates walloped the host Sewanhaka Indians football team by a score of 37-0 in Saturday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Pirates play the Long Beach Marines (Long Beach, NY) in a Section 8 Conference II challenge, on Saturday, November 2. Mepham will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Marines go into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 30-6 league win over MacArthur (Levittown, NY).
The Indians (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Jericho (Jericho, NY). The Jayhawks go into the Section 8 Conference II challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Jericho was ripped by Glen Cove (Glen Cove, NY), 34-6, in a league challenge.
