The Valley Christian Warriors edged the visiting St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats football team by a score of 14-13 in Saturday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 31. Valley Christian will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 37-14 league win over Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA).

The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Vanden (Fairfield, CA). The Vikings enter the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Vanden was edged by Freedom (Oakley, CA), 14-7, in a non-league challenge.
