Arizona High School Flag Football - Mountain Ridge over Valley Vista

The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) and the host Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ), witnessed Mountain Ridge's flag football squad knock off Valley Vista by a tally of 28-20.

The Mountain Lions (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against West Point (Avondale, AZ). The Dragons enter the 6A West Valley contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, West Point gained a win over Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ), 14-12, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Monsoon confront the O'Connor Eagles (Phoenix, AZ) in a 6A West Valley contest, on Tuesday, October 29. Valley Vista will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 10-3 record after their 44-0 non-league win over Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ).
