The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) and the visiting Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD), witnessed Douglass's football squad wallop Friendly by a tally of 36-0.
The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Laurel (Laurel, MD). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Laurel was trounced by Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD), 20-0, in a non-league contest.
