South Dakota High School Volleyball - Brandon Valley over Spearfish

Fans at Saturday's league contest between the Brandon Valley Lynx (Brandon, SD) and the host Spearfish Spartans (Spearfish, SD), observed Brandon Valley's volleyball team top Spearfish by a count of 2-0.

The Lynx (12-11) will now prepare for their contest against Rapid City Central (Rapid City, SD). The Cobblers enter the AA District 1 contest with a 10-13 record. In their last contest, Rapid City Central was knocked off by O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Spartans battle the Harrisburg Tigers (Harrisburg, SD) in a AA District 1 contest, on Saturday, October 26. Spearfish will attempt to move on its 19-8 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 19-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD).
