The De La Salle Cavalier topped the host South Plaquemines Hurricanes volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

With the win, De La Salle improves its record to 10-21 on the season. The Cavalier travel to West St. John (Edgard, LA) to encounter the Rams in a non-league test on Saturday, October 26. The Rams go into the test with a record of 4-19. West St. John lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA)

The Hurricanes now own a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lutheran for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 30.
