The Douglas Patriots volleyball squad (Box Elder, SD), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Yankton Bucks/Gazelles (Yankton, SD)

With the win, Yankton improves its record to 6-18 on the season. The Bucks/Gazelles travel to Tea (Tea, SD) to encounter the Titans in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 29. The Titans go into the battle with a record of 1-21. Tea lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD)

The Patriots now own a 12-22 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sturgis Brown for a AA District 1 battle on Tuesday, November 5.
