Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Edsel Ford Thunderbirds (Dearborn, MI) and the host Huron Chiefs (New Boston, MI), observed Edsel Ford's volleyball team hold off Huron by a count of 2-1.

The Thunderbirds (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI). The Warriors enter the Downriver contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Woodhaven was tipped by Allen Park (Allen Park, MI), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Chiefs battle the Grosse Ile Red Devils (Grosse Ile, MI) in a Huron contest, on Monday, November 4. Huron will attempt to move on its 13-7 season record.
