In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Livingston Collegiate Academy Wolves volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the South Plaquemines Hurricanes.

The Wolves (14-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Cabrini (New Orleans, LA). The Crescents come into the Division III District 8 challenge with a 7-20 record. In their last challenge, Cabrini was nudged by Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Hurricanes play the Lutheran Gryphons (Metairie, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 30. South Plaquemines will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Gryphons come into the challenge with a 3-14 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Varnado (Angie, LA).
