The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Cedar Creek Cougars (Ruston, LA) and the visiting Lincoln Prep Panthers (Grambling, LA), observed Cedar Creek's football squad bounce Lincoln Prep by a count of 55-0.

The Cougars now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Frederick for a 1A District 2 contest on Thursday, November 3. Cedar Creek will play a Warriors squad coming off a 54-6 league win over River Oaks (Monroe, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-2.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Ouachita Christian Eagles (Monroe, LA) in a 1A District 2 contest, on Friday, November 4. Lincoln Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 8-1 record after their 49-18 non-league win over West Marion (Foxworth, MS).
