In Thursday's league match, the visiting Chariho Chargers football squad scored a close 24-20 victory over the Classical Purples.
In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 4. Chariho will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 54-40 league win over Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI).
The Purples (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Hope (Providence, RI). The Blue Wave enter the non-league match with a 0-7 record.
