Texas High School Football - McKinney felled by Guyer

The McKinney Lions football team (McKinney, TX), was knocked off 42-21 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX)

The Wildcats (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rock Hill (Frisco, TX). The Blue Hawks come into the 6A Region I District 5 challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Rock Hill was knocked off by Boyd (McKinney, TX), 21-17, in a league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Prosper for a 6A Region I District 5 challenge on Friday, November 4. McKinney will meet a Eagles team coming off a 29-24 league win over Allen (Allen, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 8-1.
