The Southern Lab Kittens football team (Baton Rouge, LA), was tipped 33-26 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Kentwood Kangaroos (Kentwood, LA)
The Kangaroos (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Private (Baker, LA). The Redhawks come into the 1A District 9 challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Central Private nipped Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA), 38-27, in a non-league challenge.
The Kittens now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Slaughter Community Charter for a 1A District 9 challenge on Friday, November 4. Southern Lab will meet a Knights team coming off a 51-0 league win over Thrive Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Knights record now stands at 7-2.
