Texas High School Football - Leakey victorious over Nueces Canyon

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Leakey Eagles football squad scored a good 63-42 victory over the Nueces Canyon Panthers.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Prairie Lea Indians (Prairie Lea, TX) in a 1A 6 Man 1 Region IV District 16 (6 Man) match, on Friday, November 4. Leakey will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 1-7 record after their 53-0 league loss to Nueces Canyon (Barksdale, TX).

The Panthers (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Medina (Medina, TX). The Bobcats enter the 1A 6 Man 1 Region IV District 16 (6 Man) match with a 9-0 record. In their last match, Medina thwarted McDade (McDade, TX), 64-0, in a league match.
