The Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) football defeated the host Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA), 38-18 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 2. Monticello will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Black Knights enter the bout with a 2-5 record after their 14-12 non-league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).

The Warriors (3-7) will now prepare for their bout against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets enter the non-league bout with a 5-5 record. In their last bout, Orange County defeated Goochland (Goochland, VA), 50-0, in a non-league bout.
