The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Zeeland West Dux (Zeeland, MI) and the host Jenison Wildcats (Jenison, MI), saw Zeeland West's volleyball squad nip Jenison by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Zeeland West upgrades its record to 21-11 on the year. The Dux travel to Zeeland East (Zeeland, MI) to play the Chix in a Ottawa-Kent - Green bout on Monday, October 31. The Chix go into the bout with a record of 21-12. Zeeland East won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against North Muskegon (North Muskegon, MI)

The Wildcats now own a 25-18 record. They play next when they travel to Portage Northern for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 27. Jenison will play a Huskies squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Cadillac (Cadillac, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 20-23.
