West Virginia High School Volleyball - Scott can't hold off Roane County

In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Roane County Raiders volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Scott Skyhawks.
The Raiders (15-13) will now prepare for their battle against Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV). The Red Devils come into the Little Kanawha battle with a 11-12 record. In their last battle, Ravenswood was edged by Ripley (Ripley, WV), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Skyhawks clash with the Wayne Pioneers (Wayne, WV) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 29. Scott will attempt to advance on its 21-9 season record. The Pioneers come into the battle with a 24-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Spring Valley (Huntington, WV).
