Columbia Christian Crusaders (Magnolia, AR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Word of God Academy Force (Shreveport, LA), 55-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Columbia Christian upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Christian Ministries Academy (Hot Springs, AR) to play the Conquerors in a Heartland Christian bout on Thursday, November 2. The Conquerors come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Christian Ministries Academy lost 60-57 in their recent non-league bout against Ouachita (Donaldson, AR)

Next up, the Force play the Mount Olive Christian (Athens, LA) in a Christian Educators of Louisiana - North bout, on Thursday, November 2. Word of God Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
