The Abernathy Antelopes football squad scored 43 points and restricted the host Stanton Buffaloes to 0 in the Antelopes league victory on Friday.
The Antelopes now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coahoma for a 3A-2 Region I District 4 battle on Friday, November 3. Abernathy will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 41-22 league win over Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.
Coming up next, the Buffaloes play the Idalou Wildcats (Idalou, TX) in a 3A-2 Region I District 4 battle, on Friday, November 3. Stanton will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 5-4 record after their 39-26 league win over Littlefield (Littlefield, TX).
