Virginia High School Football - Union defeats Abingdon

October 27, 2023: Abingdon, VA 24210

In Friday's league match, the visiting Union Bears football squad scored a good 37-20 victory over the Abingdon Falcons.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the John Battle Trojans (Bristol, VA) in a Mountain match, on Friday, November 3. Union will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 3-6 record after their 42-34 league win over Lee (Jonesville, VA).

The Falcons (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Lee (Jonesville, VA). The Generals enter the Mountain match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Lee dropped by John Battle (Bristol, VA), 42-34, in a league match.
