The Avondale Yellowjackets (Auburn Hills, MI) football defeated the visiting Holly Bronchos (Holly, MI), 34-24 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Walled Lake Western Warriors (Walled Lake, MI) in a non-league game, on Friday, November 3. Avondale will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 9-1 record after their 70-0 non-league win over Thurston (Redford, MI).

The Bronchos now sport a 6-4 record.
